Daikin drip tray
Evening chaps, Have any of you out there changed a drip tray assembly on a daikin FAY100 wall mount? If you have, how easy was it? Does the drain hose actually detach? Or does it need to come off the wall?
Problem is that the unit is very, very high on the wall, ( I can only just reach the filters from the top of me ladder) and it is above a sloping walkway. The other problem is that the pipes are buried in the wall behind lots of t&g cladding, but the height is not a problem at the back of the unit, it would require a bit of demolition and redecoration. Hopefully you guys will be able to tell me that it can be done in place, relatively easily. I've been putting it off for ages, got to be done soon.

Re: Daikin drip tray
Very easy Andy. There's a clip on the left hand side, and the drain just pushes off.
We often take out the drain pan during servicing as it get's in a right state and needs flushing to keep the smells down.
