    compressor replace



    Hai sirs,
    any body have any experiance about replace of compressor reciprocating and rotary .If i replace compressor reciprocating inplace of rotary have any problem will come at the working time . I have doubt about the capilllary design of reciprocating and rotary systems .Anybody can help me.

    What size of compressor are you replacing and what application?

    Hai good guy
    compressor same LRA, same BTU but changing reciprocating in place of rotary.wall mount type split a/c.

    If you have the the same cooling capacity and the operating conditions (evaporating and condensing temperature and the same refrigerant), why would the cap tube requirement change if you change the compressor type?

    The cap tube size and length is based on the refrigerant flow required for a specific evaporating and condensing temperature, if the refrigerant and cooling capacity does not change.

    If all else remains constant, except for the compressor type you should be OK to replace the compressors. The compressor type (piston or rotary) should have no effect on the cap tube.
    If all else fails, ask for help.
