i HAVE A ICELINE FRIDGE R-346, NOT COOLING, THE COMPRESSOR IS QUITE HOT, I HAVE SHORTED OUT THE STAT(FUNNY CONTROL ONE AT TOP), STILL WAITING TO SEE IF IT GETS COLD, WOULD THE COMPRESOR BE FAULTY,
weould like to get it going as it's a work fridge, so at the minute i have it upside down in the hope when i turn it back up, it will work

first probabil cause is a leck, resulting in a refrigerent shortage

Make sure you don't switch it back on for at least two weeks.
The fault could be gas related or the comp might have failed. You really need a tech to look at it.

Don't know which instruction book you used but I think that it refers to absorbtion fridges not mechanical
