please tell me the use of HVACSIM+

I have a hvacsim simulation program.
but, i din't know how it use.
i have the menual of it, but this program is not running as the menual.
so, please tell me the use of HVACSIM+.
when i start this program(1st HVACGEN), in my case,
i enterd type number then the program was always automatically close the window.
i must solve this problem. please help me.

How is is possible that these people can write so much code and get so much exposure and produce a program that is so inaccessible?


Yuri, if you can find an email address somewhere in the program source, send this thread to them and let's see if we can get some discussion going.

Hi Yuri,
I may know the solution to your problem with the HVACGEN program. It needs to have the file typar.dat in the same directory. You may have seen an error message like this:

Enter the type number (or TYPES for list of types)
=>
4
INITIALIZING TYPES INFORMATION...
Cannot open typar.dat or h:/ash825_3/data/typar.dat
Fatal error

D:\BIN>

If that is the error message, just copy the typar.dat file to the directory you are running HVACGEN in.
You posted your question a while ago, so let me know if you have solved your problem, or if you have a different problem.

Thats why I did not understand why he didnt just contact the company direct?

HVACSIM+ is distributed freely, so I don't think he had it illegally.

While the manufacturer may have helped him, he could also have solved his problem much quicker by opening the README1.TXT file that came with HVACSIM+.
