Hi,
Trying to rewire a fridge but cannot for the life of me remove the black protective box at the bottom of the fridge. There is somewhat of a vague diagram on the box, but I can't work that out either. I've removed 3 visable screws.
Anyone had any success with these?

I think you are talking about the cover on the compressor?
You have to insert a small screwdriver in the slot and then lever it open.
Oh, and the 3 screws were for the earth terminals.
Just for you info though, the wiring diagram on the cover is only for the wires inside for the comp and not for the thermostat or anything else.
