Stuck in south jersey with a need for further education

I am in south jersey USA and need to further my education in merchandise case design. There is no traning program were I am employed nor a mentor type individual to learn from. I have been building the same products for many years and am rarely exposed to the new technologies. Any Ideas??? Ken

Well Ken I hate to break it to you buddy but this is a game of make it up as you go alone. As far as I know there are no courses for this. If you think south jersey is off the cutting edge you want to try learning from New Zealand! I have been in this business 20 years now and those first 10 years were real tough but there will come a time when you find your feet. i have read some of your posts and from the sound of the work your doing you are in a very similar position I was in. However it also sounds like you are working on a wide varity of merchandisers which wil make you a sort after comodity one day. Just follow the refrigeration basics and try and keep your designs as simple as possible.
