    Absorption chiller in winter

How to prepare absorption unit (Li-Br water) for cooling during winter (20ºF ambient temperature). Absortption unit will be used for laboratory cooling with permanent heat gain. Absorption unit has cooling tower without three-way valve, but a cooling tower fan has inverter. I think two problems will occur cooling water freezing (in case of low capacity) and Li-Br solution crystallization (in case of high capacity and cooling water temperature bellow 65ºF).
    Any suggestion?

    Regards Igor!

Limit your heat input based on the tower water temp. As the tower water temp increases, increase the heat imput. Trane has done this for years, it works well. What make absorber is this?

York has similar control of heat input based on cooling water temperature. Mentioned absorber is Broad (110kW/33Rt).
