Re: Lubrication oil
Hello Km Mobiles Shc226e Oil Is Synthetic Oil And It Is Good For Low Temperatures And Especially With Open Type Compressors Because It Is Very Thick And Stops Seals Leaking

Re: Lubrication oil
thank you all for the quick reply.
I am still trying to understand what is the difference in properties between PAO 68 (York ) and Mobil SHC226 E
I only manage to find the data sheet for the SHC 226E>
Any hint to differentiate it?
Currently the York Chiller SAB163HR is using Sabroe PAO 68 compressor oil but my supplier recommend me to use Mobil Gargoyle Arctic SHC 226E.Last edited by km200099; 02-03-2007 at 01:30 AM.

Re: Lubrication oil
hola, i've just posted similar question to yours.
my evaluation of any lueb oil goes towards
1] viscosity in cSt @ +40degC & +100degC;
2] pour point;
3] flash point;
4] floc point;
5] wax discomposition;
6] temperature-viscosity index
there are some others which the lube oil company would not review ... i do know why.
hope that helps you.
