Modify Thermoking Controller
I would like to figure out a way to start up my ThermoKing MD100 remotely. The refer unit is in a very remote location and I only want it to start up when i tell it to remotely...
I have a seperate controller (CR1000 - connected to a modem) and I'd like to be able to somehow wire the start / stop buttons from the thermoking controller pannel to my other controller so i can trigger it manually - by sending an electrical pulse. Not sure if this is even possible.
Does anyone have any experience with this type of thing. Im guessing id rewire the controller (called SMART REFER controller) and run a wire from the CR1000 to the start button or something.
ps: I dont want to buy the Thermoking modems and monitors because i have alternate controllers already in place.
