Any web site tips
I've been playing around with a web site but have had trouble getting it on search engines, anyone got any tips how to get a good listing without expense?

<META> tags are the key. Buy a book on "Javascript" that'll give you some pointers.
I'm sure WebRam will have some good info. He's done a great job with this site!
I would consider downloading a webpage from a site with positive search results, open it in my editor, and study the <meta> tag usage.
Also, if you go to your web "logs", you will be able to see if any of the "robots" have visited your site. There are particular names assigned to the machines that scan the 'net to procure the information for the serach engines. You can obtain the names of these "visitors" and be able to go to those sites and check to see how far up the list you are on any particular search terms that you would like to be associated with.
