Why don't you refer any duct design manual,there are many factors for duct designing and you have to go step by step you have to know method of sizing, pressure drop, material type
fittings, accessories and friction charts and then put all together....

trane and carrier all they have good duct design manuals,
Also may be you will find used manuals from amazon...
