    Metastream coupling for compressor



    Need a help to find manufacturer of this coupling

    Type: Metastream 7502-0055-0001-FQC 51

    rpm 7000
    el. motor 240HP/180kW-
    1470 rpm x 4.731 from gearbox=

    No good info found on Google

    Josip what on earth is this fitted to. The coupling is as per Sabroe, but when have Sabroe fitted gearboxes to their screws. Sounds like something in the gas compression field

    Please let us know

    Dear Brian, seems they are, but my coupling is not listed there. I've been there before without success Maybe I have to download complete catalogue and then read it carefully. One reason can be it is quite old type and maybe out of production and available only as a spare part.

    My dear US Iceman, thanks for link but that one is in Italian language. Not my native language, but I can read it and understand a lot unfortunately cannot speak

    Dear Andy, yes this one is for Howden oil free compressor for Propylene oxide in chemical industry here is my previous thread:

    I will come back to this thread when we (I hope we will) finish all works and start compressor

    We did general overhaul and one old coupling insert is damaged, exist one new but there must be always spare one.

    I'm sorry about the bad link. The homepage had a drop down box and Croatia was listed. When I selected this, the site I posted was the one that appeared.
