Liability Insurance
Have any other self employed engineers had trouble getting liability insurance? It seems you need to be a builder or a plumber to qualify. If anyone can point me in the right direction I would be very grateful.

The Liability Insurance issue has been a nightmare for me. In Texas a lot of the Insurance companies are pulling out of the market.
I just got written by Zurich Company.

Simon,
I got my insurance from Barclays Bank, Barclays Business Protection Services to be precise.
and very reasonable too. I had no problems, in fact my policy stipulates it is for refrigeration engineer, handling gas and oxy acetelene equip. I also pay monthly.
Their number is:
023 8021 6771
Hope this helps

Thanks for the help guys, saved me a lot of time trawling through the yellow pages (you seen how big the insurance section is!) got two quotes both very similar but Barclays slightly better.
Cheers
Simon
