R12 drop in Refrigerant
Hello everyone can you advise me a drop in for a walk in running on R12 operating as a chiller 40-45 deg f

Hi Mike - you could try DuPont's ISCEON MO49 which will act as a drop in. It is mainly targetted at car a/c but will work fine in your application, and is particularly good in higher ambients. There are also others if you can't find a DuPont stockist, but make sure you use something compatible with mineral oil

Hi Mike,
R409A is what we use here in London as a drop in for
R12 not that there is a lot of use for it now.

There several to choose from, I have found R409a ok
but latley have been using SP34E, (134a with some additives so it can be used with mineral oil)

Thanks everyone will need to get the Refrigerant from the States as no one on the island has the Refrigerants you have mentioned
