Continue theme Bearings Frick XJS/XJF 95-151

    Hi All.
I have overhaul compressor XJS 120 and finished work installation jackshaft. New bearing SKF factory with mark YOR.534B0101H24. I measured axial play and saw standard in play 0.025 mm. for 2CL series. Why then in service manual I see two different a picture: between a bearings two shims (any for install) and picture without a shims. After installation any we will be reduce the gap. What must be gap (axial play) on jackshaft, after close housing of shaft seal...?

    Kind regards

    Scruw,
In jackshaft manual in indicates only a small number have shims by serial number.
Housungs are a different thickness to also identify.
    0.025mm would think is minimum.
Cannot see anything for 120, only XJS 151 0.25 to 0.125 mm end float.
