    Can I use calcium chloride in propylene system?



    Can I use calcium chloride as secondary refrigerant in propylene system?Does them be compatible?I found in some MSDS such as INTERGAS COMPANY said propylene is react viloently with halogenated compounds.

    Tell us something more about your project.

    I believe any good chemist or chemical laboratory can give you much better answer what happens when CaCl2 came into contact with propylene.

    Maybe to change the primary refrigerant or you can use some other secondary refrigerant because calcium chloride is quite aggressive
