On my CPU cooler, the TXV diaphragm will sometimes frost up for a while during startup. The frost disappears after a few minutes.
Will that cause problems with the TXV? I think the cause is liquid migrating into the diaphragm when the system is off, causing a heatpipe effect when the bulb cools quickly. Should I install a small resistor near the diaphragm to prevent liquid buildup? Or is it nothing to worry about?
