Need help

hi,

I have a friend who is a Refrigeration engineer,basically i would like to know where to start.

I live in the U.k and anything located in the North West (Preston area) would be helpful.
I'm looking for an apprenticeship basically and every web site i have been to doesn't help or tell me where to look etc, so if anyone has any advice telephone numbers etc please help me.
If anyone knows of any companies accepting apprenticeships that would be helpful too.
