High Disc Temp
I am fighting a high disc temp what causes this and what should I do. This is on a 1000 ton york chiller.

Which or modelo I give seu compressor? Which pressao de trabalho? which or superaquecimento? é resfriado to ar ou to água?

It is a screw compressor model ys nn nn s7 york.
chilled water and tower water for condensor side.

Is it a centrifugal chiller? What are the superheating (if not flooded evap) and subcooling?

its a screw compressor, would this happen at a low load and also if air temp was low

At low flow rates you are not moving alot of refrigerant through the compressor and you are relying on the oil to cool the compressor, what is the oil temperature when it goes down? It could be either your oil temp is too high (what type of oil cooling?) or your oil injection flow rate is restricted.

At low load, screw compressors are prone to high discharge temp. Unless superheating can be reduced so that discharge temp can reduce, I would suggest liquid injection to cool the windings.
