Does anyone know about POPE unit?
Hello everyone,
Just wondering if anyone ever heard of POPE brand air conditioning unit from Simpson Pope Ltd. I did a search and thought it was sold in Australia by Emailair - rang them up but they had no information abt it.
The unit in question is a water-cooled packaged unit, the model no. is CEV340. Power supply is 3 phase, 65.6 Amps. Running on R22, 36 lbs. The water pipe connection is 2 inches OD. I'm trying to work out the capacity of the unit. Judging from the floor area it serves, we think it should be at least 70 kW.

Well if you convert the voltage x amperage into Watts you get 47232 or 47.23kw.
Assuming a low COP of 2.5:1 you would have a cooling capacity of 118kw.
Obviously, you would need the manufacturers data to be exact.
