    mitis electric

    Hi guy's

we're about to use one of these 7kw as a R22 swap out. Anyone have any experience of doing this and is it really necessary to use a separate inconnect 240/24v ?

    Cheers

    Richard

You could probably get away with Richard but is it worth the risk if it causes problems ? I also think it generates less wiring mistakes as you definitely do not want 240v down your 24v terminals

We've done a few of the hitachi ones which insist on seperate supplies but we couldn't run new cables so utilised the existing four core and all is well

We've fitted some where the indoor has had a seperate supply and some where we've used 5 core. No problems so far.
