R22
Can somebody tell me if R22 is banned or going to be banned
A customer has six R22 split systems that are in quite a bad state. I could possibly repair them but I wanted to know if R22 is still widely avaliable

R22 is still available and usable however it will have a limited lifespan.
Would suggest replacement if the kit is past it.
R22 will be hard and expensive to obtain after about 2008.Brian - Newton Abbot, Devon, UK

You'll probably have to break the rooms up into regular shapes, squares, triangles etc., to calculate the areas and volumes.

Odd-shaped rooms provide odd problems, so don't foget to consider the odd-shaped air distibution.
The design is only as good as the conditioned air reaching as complete a path throughout the room and back again to the AHU as it can.
