    capacity question

does anybody know why manufacturer such as Mitsubishi have a range, of say, cassettes of different capacities which are priced on size, and then have a bank of dip switches inside to change the capacities.

so for instance if i was installing a vrf with say 4 4kw units could i buy the 2kw version, change the dip setting and save myself a few hundred quid in the process

    Re: capacity question

Good try Danny but I think it works the other way around, you could derate a 4kW to a 2kW perhaps
