New Carell Control Panel
I put in the new design Master Cella Carell Electronic Control panel today,
Yes, it looks cool and its sauve.........gone into a spanking new Cellrtherm cold room
It has a built in isolator switch as well
Question I have is...........The manual is terrible. The writing is small..........has anyone understood how to program the parametres, how to access the parameters.
Im switching on tomorrow. I connected the cold room to the auxiliary relay no 2, as it says in manual.
When i press the light switch , nothing happens.
When I press the standby switch.........nothing happens.....!!
grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
If some member has recently used this controller, pse help.
I bought it from Hawco...........

Re: New Carell Control Panel
Only now seen your post Abe.
We have some 5 Master Cella's installed last months, so if any problems, fire your questions Abe.
But, my son knows them better then I doIt's better to keep your mouth shut and give the impression that you're stupid than to open it and remove all doubt.

Re: New Carell Control Panel
I got it all working, it looks good.
The light is connected to AUX relay 2, to switch the light on you keep the button pressed for 5 secs.............then it switches!!
The programming part , I managed, only wished that the manual would explain the sequences better, in a flow chart, instead of having to squint reading small print.....
Peter.
I say I managed to set the parametres, to gain access to set parameters you press prg and set simultaneosly for 5 secs.
Then it shows 00 on screen
You press up /down buttons until you reash password which is 22.
Then you press SET.....
Now you can change settings
First is, HACCP which are the probe parameters, which I dont touch
I wanted to go to modify the next set, which are COMPRESSOR
Its got all the stuff in the manual, but its small and not clear cut. The sequence should be in big bold and in flow chart form.
The sequence is I think.
scroll
When you reach the desired parameter
Press SET
At this stage I gave up..............because the manual gets all muddled up..............
I will write it up later this evening so u understand what I mean
This is where I was having difficulty.

Re: New Carell Control Panel
G'day Abe.
This is the sheet I use for Carel controllers.
It is written in Australian, might be harder to understand than Greek

Re: New Carell Control Panel
Nick Clark, a specific question might get an answer.
So far you said that the light won't switch on, then you stated that it is on all the time except during defrost.
We don't know what you want so I'm sorry it is difficult to answer.Brian - Newton Abbot, Devon, UK
