Leaking!
Have a portable unit, when i went to empty the water tank today, quite a lot of water leaked onto my carpet as I was moving it! Not from the pipe either, but from the bottom of the case. Is this serious? It seems to run normally!

Re: Leaking!
Use the drain tube BEFORE you move it. They only have a shallow drain pan inside and the slightest movement will get the water sloshing about - hence your wet carpet.
If using the drain tube is a problem where it is sited then try and get some similar sized tubing so that you can extend the drain pipe to somewhere safer.Brian - Newton Abbot, Devon, UK
