    Actron soft starter, rewired to DOL



    Have an 18kW Actron single phase split ducted, SRD181C-0200 with Copeland scroll ZPD67KCE compressor. The unit has killed 4 soft starters in 12 months. Actron tech support sent me a DOL wiring diagram, just shows a capacitor, does not specify capacitor. I have read some other posts on here saying it’s a start cap wired in the DOL circuit. I asked Actron tech support to clarify and they claim it is an 80uf @ 450v run cap? Can someone with knowledge confirm or deny?
