    Hi,

Have done this type of connection a few times, you need a suitable 55% silver brazing rod and also a special flux to suit stainless steel.
The joint needs to be very clean and de-greased before starting brazing.
Do not overheat the stainless steel or the braze won't stick to it, keep the heat from the torch more on the copper, keep the torch moving so you don't overheat the stainless steel. If the pipes are not too big a propane torch can be easier than mapp or oxy acetylene. If you do overheat the stainless steel and the rod won't stick, let it cool, clean it again with sandpaper etc and start again.

I usually mix the flux with a little water into a paste and spread that on the pipe and fitting before assembling, keep more flux ready so you can dip the rod in it as you go.

Maybe practice on some scrap part first if its an important or difficult joint to make.

    This is what I use,

Try your local welding supplier to see what they stock.

Also, have a look on Youtube for how to videos.
Mostly found in Oxfordshire, UK :)
