Dear friends,

So basically I've been fitting quality cellar cooling equipment (made in Yorkshire) for a good 20 years, without any evaporator coil issues.
Approximately 2 years ago I had a new coil start leaking on its 10th month.
This was replaced under warrantee but I was still surprised.

Next coil lasted about 7 months and then I really started to take note as the leaks appeared in a similar place on the copper U bends on the evaporator coil. I also noted the copper looked corroded, sort of bubbling?? difficult to explain really. I'd never seen this before.

Sadly the third coil only lasted 4 months and same again so bit gutted really.

At first I thought the manufacture could be using cheaper made coils but this is not the case as now confirmed. We have asked the questing and there are no other known issues with their coils and they make thousands a week.
The only significant thing to mention is is that all 3 leaking coils have happened in that same cellar and I'm just wondering if anyone has any ideas.

The cellar is not the cleanest I've seen have to admit that. Its sort of underground well 3x walls are with paint bubbling on the walls like something is maybe reacting but not sure.
Also I've noticed a sump pump. Some really old wooden beer rack.
Doubt I'm struggling and would really appreciate anyone's input.
Many Thanks
