Hi Guys,

I got a call today about a Toshiba systems

3 x MMY-MAP1001HT8
5 x MMD-AP0???BH (not sure about the exact model number )

Long story short one of the indoors (ducted) has a leak on the coil. The unit is a tight spot and will need to be removed from the ceiling if a repair is to be attempted. In the short term is it possible to blank the pipes going to the unit (a temporary measure) and get the rest of the system operational. So there’s a few things here

1. I would imagine if they just turned everything back on, without altering any wiring or addresses, the unit would run but throw up a fault shortly after due to temps not changing ?
2. Would disconnecting the remote cable (A , B) from the unit allow it to still remain in the system ( leave U1 and U2 connected ) thus no address / system faults while not getting a run signal from the remote.
3. Can this indoor be removed entirely from the system and readdress everything.

Thanks in advance . I know the site but no longer work for the company , just giving a friend a dig out.
