    Airco hose question

Question to the ac installers: suppose I would connect my new ac split unit with hoses like the one in the attached picture, would I still have to isolate the hoses to prevent them from getting wet/condensed or will the rubber hose isolation be enough? Thanks a million.

    Re: Airco hose question

    Well, where do we start?

The hoses are not designed for long time permanent usage with variable operating temperatures.

The hose bore is insufficient to handle the refrigerant flow.

The suggestion demonstrates the lack of competent training by the originator of this hare brained idea.

The hose connectors do not comply with current regulations.
