Is there somebody that know what the oil charge of a Trane 5 ton Airconditioning dome reciprocating compressor is ( R 22)
, shocking that this info is nowhere on the web

Welcome to the forum.
Your post did make me smile, if only because you bemoan the lack of available info online for what I can only assume is a very old system.
Not sure what the polices regarding R22 are in South Africa.
But for UK and Europe its use has been banned since 2004. Hence my assuming you have an old system?
I have access to a lot of Trane Equipment info including the relevant oils etc.
So if you could be a little more specific about what equipment you have? I may be able to Help!

I completely agree that you need to know which model you are using. Previously, I was engaged in the sale of spare parts for equipment and also heard this kind of questions. Lol.
