    Titanium BPHE

I contacted Alfa Laval for having an offer for titanium plates exchanger.
They told me that their delivery time for that is now 24 months (2 years).
This is of course ridiculous. Anybody in other parts of Europe is having the same problems with supplies of titanium PHE?

No answer from me, Nick. I am wondering why you require titanium?

    Re: Titanium BPHE

    no nick

the time is crazy but probably close to correct. when I was sales manager last year with Isotherm in USA we had the same difficulty with our titanium plate and frame
We could get titanium tube for excahngers but not the plate.

the problem is the ability to aquire titanium sheet material to make the plates apparently demand espically from asia esically china is taking all of the available production. it is a real bad problem for the industry.

hope this helps, sometimes you can find used units ..
