    Evaporator and Condensor ratio

Is there a rule of thumb ratio for volume between condenser and evaporator? For instance, if I were to fill the condenser with water, would that same amount of water be equal to the amount of water that would fit into the evaporator, ie 1:1? Or is the ratio different?

No reason that there would be a volume ratio.

    Re: Evaporator and Condensor ratio

I am trying to answer that without seeming sarcastic, which I do not mean to be.
There are many factors involved in Evaporator and Condenser sizing.
But this is like asking is there a ratio between tire sizing and the size of the engine in an Automobile.
You might take Condenser sizing into account if you wanted to pump down a system, but there is NO fixed ratio.
