Trane RTWD 250, compressor failed to start:transition
Hi all,
Had a quick look but nothing popped out to me.
Having the above issue with a Trane rwtd250 Chiller.
Trying to run the comp, the star contactor pulls in then out and in a bit, (I know lol) delta contactor pulls in and the compressor just sits there humming like it is stalling and needs a booting.
Has anyone here had the same issues or maybe some experience to resolve this please?
Recently replaced the HP switch on the circuit and pumped down the compressor, placed fridge back in and attempted to run then this issue appeared.

Sounds like the star/delta timer needs replacing.

Ah yeah makes sense actually now thinking about it. Strange how it all happened.

Pull the comp fuses and run it , check the continuity through the contactors
