Bleed hole

Hi friends,
What is bleed hole on expansion valve and what is advantage of expansion valve with bleed hole ?

The bleed hole allows the pressure to equalise from the high to low pressure side of the valve when the compressor has stopped. It makes the restart of the compressor easier for the motor especially low back pressure compressors.

There is also a special bleed hole to increase system capacity.
