Hi Seniors,
Here in the summer season head Temperature increasing upto 135'C . Especially head number 01 others 125'C.
Why it is manual says maximum discharge temperature 170'C. Boss little frightened. Compressor Grasoo R 612
Suction pressure 2.6Bar
Discharge pressure 13Bar
What is allowable discharge head Temperature.
Awaiting your kind words.

Re: Head Temperature
Hi Shaaf,
at your conditions, -4.6 / + 36.3°C; standard mineral oil, 1000tr/mn, superheat 2°K, ambiant 40°C.
theoretical discharge temp is 114.3°C.
at 6°K superheat, discharge is 119.9°C.
In your case, 135°C is too high but N°1 is at the opposite of suction connection so a bit warmer than the second cylinder bank.
check for any discharge/suction valve issue.
170°C is the maximum discharge temperature when the compressor is fitted with cylinder heads probes. it's the temperature close to the discharge valves. when one breaks the temperature rise suddently
RC9;11;12;12E were fitted with those cylinder probes connected to a TSU.
on the discharge pipe 140°C is the usual max temperature with discharge pipe sensor.
