Phoenix Carrier Reefer Unit Trouble
I have a 96 Phoenix Carrier Unit that I'm needing some help with. This unit has worked just fine the last 6 months but I let it set for 10 days without running it and now it won't cool down. Coolant reaches 150 after about 10 minutes or so, and the suction line is reading -5 to -6. I really just don't have a clue and any help would be appreciated.

Re: Phoenix Carrier Reefer Unit Trouble
Make sure that there are no other active alarms other than AL52 (alarm list full) in alarm list.
Select "Alt Mode" parameter "DC30" and press enter for 5 seconds to zero trip start then clear alarm list as normal.
Best Regards
Ian

Re: Phoenix Carrier Reefer Unit Trouble
Possible shaft seal leak on the compressor resulting in loss of refrigerant....is there a lot of oil round the shaft that enters the compressor......you will need to fit gauges to check pressures.
