What kind of valve is this?
Can anyone identify this valve? It has three staggered threaded 1/4" ports, a knob that pulls in and out, and is plugged at the other end. The body is 3" long and 1 1/2" in diameter. There are five of these used for manual capacity contol on a Grasso compressor.

Re: What kind of valve is this?
Hi Flasah
I can tell you what it is but I can't tell you where to get it except Grasso.
Its a three port hydralic diverter valve.
You can repalce it with any valve manufacturer provided the valve is compatible with the refrigerant and the oil being used. The pressure shouldn't be a problem say 8.5 bar on a grasso, much lower than 120 bar on a hydralic system
Kiind Regards AndyIf you can't fix it leave it that no one else will:rolleyes:

Andy,
Thanks for the help. Now, hopefully, I'll be able to find where to get one.
