    Small copper pipe



    Dear Friends,
    In Chiller Shell&Tube evaporator sometimes when I open them see some of factories use small copper pipes, bottom of pipe is at bottom of evaporator and top of pipe has elbow and has been put inside of a pipe at upper rows. When I asked, Told me this is for transferring accumulated oil at bottom better on this evaporator. Unfortunately I do not have photo for sending to make my question more clear. If you have any photo please send in this post for making my question clear.
    Did you see anything like that and do you agree about installation of this pipe and actually would it be useful or not ?
