    FTx25 strange noise from indoor unit



    Chaps

    got some older 2013 indoor units 2 out of 150 which are making a strange motor type noise. but we have changed the stator and both bearings but still the same..

    has anyone had similar and what was the solution?

    If that is BLDC motor, than probably problem is in control electronic!

    Guess you would have sussed this but anyhow, couldn't be sure from the video but sounded a bit like the fan was out of balance with the drumming noise?

    on going

    as soon as you switch off the noise stops but the fan keeps spinning..

    As Nike has suggested, probably induced electronic noise from faulty PCB.
