    Screw compressor



    Hi friends,

    I have a question. At photo below (photo of Bitzer screw compressor + oil separator + oil cooler) there is a bypass line that links discharge to suction via solenoid valve (No. 12).

    While we use this bypass line in screw systems ?

    That picture is from the Bitzer Application Manual and shows the 'standstill bypass'.

    If you go to page 30 of that manual you will find the description of that bypass.
