    AC Capacities

In the AC manual the capacities are quoted as:

    Nominal Cooling: 10Kw
    Nominal Heating: 11.20 Kw
    UK Total Cooling: 9.10Kw
    UK Sensible Cooling 6,25 Kw

This is from the Daikin catalogue. I am referring to Model FCQ100B

What is UK Total Cooling and UK Sensible Cooling?
Also what would be the running amps of a 10Kw inverter drive cassette

    Re: AC Capacities

Hi Abe, UK total cooling is rated @ 30C outdoor with a 23C indoor which is the uk's standard temperature for sizing a/c systems.

Nominals are rated @ 35C outdoor and 27 indoor this just means we can get away with smaller equipment for the uk as the above are rated for different hotter country's.

Sensible cooling is the heat which affects the temperature of a substance with no moisture change in a/c calcs such as heat from machines, lights and the sun.

running amps of a 10kw unit vary but we would expect to see about 13 amps single phase.
