Time needed for air compressor to reach 10 bar

    Dear colleagues

I will like to calculate the time needed for air compressor (38 m3/m) to fill air receiver 500 lt at pressure 13 bar. and I don't know the formula.

Does any one know the formula?

    Best Regards

Re: Time needed for air compressor to reach 10 bar

A very difficult question to answer from what I've just read on the internet.

For a start, what is the pressure when the compressor is delivering the 38m³ ?

The pressure when the compressor is loading (deliver air ) to fill the 500lt air receiver the pressure is zero bar.

    Thanks for the reply.

Sorry, I gave an unclear question.

At what pressure does the compressor give the rated flow rate?

If it does 38m³ at 5bar then it is undersized.
