    Clivet Chiller

    HI all,

Got a call to look at a chiller last week. I haven't done any works on these Clivet chillers.
    Model # WSAT-XSC150F

Customer told me that the previous maintenance company said a new EEV was needed.

When I looked at the panel the following error codes are displayed
    U1/CMP2
E128 Steeper Mot or Error Alarm

    U1/CMP2
    E103 Evaporator pressure probe

Just wondering if I should change the EEV, the EEV module and the Evap probe?

    Thanks in advanve.

Change the evap probe first , if that doesn’t rectify it change the controller . You can get a manual controller handset to drive the stepper valve to see if it’s working most of the stepper valve manufacturers make these testers

Motor error may indicate a fault with the stepper motor coil. You could check for continuity between the motor poles. Should have 2 separate motor coils. You may have continuity between terminals 1&3, 2&4 for example.

    Re: Clivet Chiller

Hi Guys, still haven’t got back to this chiller. Waiting on parts.
But I have another error on an identical model as above.
    E126 SPI faulty alarm.
Manual says E126 is MAX TS TEE peralarm.
It doesn’t reset. Any idea what this is ?
