    Grasso E screw compressor

    Recently overhauled Grasso E.
    Came across spring extension(117) guide ring/ "0" ring replacement (665, 697).

Anyone know secret to successful replacement of guide ring?

On spring extension there are 2 seals or guides to prevent metal to metal contact.
Under the plastic or Teflon guide is an “0” ring as well.
Are you familiar White what I mean?
I realise it’s not 100% necessary to change, but like to know how if the situation arises.

Sorry mate 669 secures the 117 which has the two 665 & 697.
Pretty common knowledge in the industry
