Free cooling for chiller rooms
Hi people ,
Has any one ever tried or come across the cooling of chill rooms in winter with outside air, and if so I would like to hear your thoughts on this concept as initially it seems a no brainer but there is nothing to base this on. so come on people help me out? There must be something out there
and if anybody knows it will be here.
Thanks in advance,
Lastguest.

Here in the UK I wouldn't think that our winter ambient temperatures are consistently low enough to provide the sort of cooling required.
The temperature rise through the AHU doesn't help things either.Brian - Newton Abbot, Devon, UK

We fit cellar coolers that when ambient is cool enough it pulls outside air in but if you have a cold room running at plus 1 you need to bring in the air in at minus temps like Brian says how often is outside air that cold in Devon we have about 10 frosty mornings last year if ur room is a lot warmer ideal
