    Units Of Air Volume

In Yankee Land, airflow is most often expressed as CFM...cubic feet per min. Is there a more /most, favorite/common metric expression around the globe, like L/s or M3/minute? For residential ducting...millimeters for linear dimensions? mm2 for cross sectional area?

    Thanks in advance...

You have the most used terms correct.

    Generally l/s or m³/s

Ductwork size in mm with the area in m²

In the UK we use SI units which are derived from but not the same as metric units of measurement.
Look at specifications from French, Italian or Spanish manufacturers and they will often use CM for linear dimensions, SI uses just mm and Kilometres.
