    Sanyo remote

    Hi Guys

I have an old Sanyo split (407c) spw-cr363ehl8 didn’t make a note of the indoor . When the controller is turned on it runs for 10 seconds and powers down. No attempt for indoor or outdoor to run, even on fan only. Checked voltage at remote 12v ok. Suspect faulty controller. rcs-sh80tg

Could be but have you followed the fault finding schedule in the manual?

I did , which lead me to the faulty remote. Just wanted to see if anyone has had this issue before and maybe there’s was an underlying problem.

Check the on\off button isn't trapped under the cover, causing it to turn off.
Also look to see if an accessory called T10 (6 wired plug on the indoor board) is installed. This is to connected an external time-clock, if the time-clock has been removed the T10 contacts might signal to stop the unit and would shut the unit off.
