Liquid reciever w/spiral heat exchanger
Hi
I need very urgent some liquid reciever`s with an internal
spiral heat exchanger inside. The zise could be 8 - 25 and
35 litres. Heat echanger tube could be 5/8" - 7/8" and
1 1/8" made of steel.
Does anybody know if this is a standard component or do
i have to let them produce specialy.

Thanks for the reply. I have been locking at something like
you descripted. My problem is that all superheating take place in the liquid reciever, because I am running a 2 step
trotling system with a full flodded evaporator.
This system demand a realy big heatexchanger in the liquid line.
For 5/8" it must be 7,5 Mtr. - 7/8" must be 11 Mtr. and finaly the 1 1/8" most be about 16 Mtr in lenght.

This is a liquid over feed system, using a suction accumulator to boil off the excess, subcooling the main liquid line in the process.
What you need is an LPR, this is a suction accumulator with a shell and tube heat exchanger below. The cold liquid in the accumulator drains into the shell of the shell and tube heat exchanger, the warm liquid from the condenser feeds into the tubes of the S&T boiling off the cold liquid.
You will have to get one made, but it is just a suction accumulator coupled up to a shell and tube heat exchanger, both can be off the shelf, all be it with extra connections joining them.

Hi Carlo!
The liquid receiver/heatexchanger, that you are looking for, is a patented system! I know that, because I'm using such vessels in my cooling designs. Actually the same sizes, you describe above. I don't hope, that you are trying to make an illegal copy!
The man, who invented this system, is danish as your self. Maybe you should look in danish homepages.

It is more a combination between a regulator (without moving parts), to control the amount of refrigerant in a full floated evaporator/evaporators and a liquid receiver.
I really do not believe, that something has been copied!
