    Unhappy Carrier 30HXC200--0024-AEE

    Hi,

I have some troubles with 2 chillers both Carrier 30HXC200--0024-AEE with Carrier Pro-Dialog Plus black display from year 2000.
The software is a version 3 or 4.
We are getting error 113 and 213 on both chillers, according to the manual a have is it relating to the setpunkt reset but the errors are coming even with wires disconnectet and running the chiller in local or remote.
It is only a warning the chiller is running with the warning.
    What is causing this?

Can you show this manual with 113 and 213 alrm codes? I found some for black HXC screw prodialog. And this alarms are Current phase reversal. Grey prodialog shows Star-delta start-up alarm.

Can't see that alarm, there is no setpoint reset alarm. The HXC phase 2 manual on the Carrier website as previously stated shows phase reversal.

Compressor wouldnt be running but not the chiller. For example if 113 alarm is - comp A1 shut down.

Maybe you were looking at alarm history and not current alarms.

Yes, I can reset the alarms with out trouble, but the alarms are comming again about 5-30 min.
Both chillers are running with the failures and with both Circuits ( 2+1 screws on both chillers).

    Hi Oz4rg
the alarm 113=compressor A1 and 213=A2 Phase reversal fault
with this fault it will prevent all compressors on circuit A from running but circuit b should be fully operational
now what you need to look for is a klixson within the starter panel this is a common issue on the phase two
and will generate a phase reversal alarm dont know why but it does
also if the panel klixson is ok then just link out the phase reversal relay once you prove that the relay is faulty quote to replace but dont leave the relay linked out these issues are common on carrier chillers
